Hi, My name is Candy Farris. Today I am a walking miracle; saved by the grace of God.I have been married to my husband, Darren Farris, for the last 20 years. I want to thank you for visiting my website. I created it to tell you what the Lord has done for me! He saved my life in October of 2004. It is truly an honor for me to give you hope in the middle of the struggles you are going through while I share how God brought me safely through5 brain surgeries due to a buried bloated blood vessel that was leaking in my brain after a chiropractic adjustment went wrong. I started vomiting after the adjustment and my husband had to be called to pick me up. He was told to take me to the hospital, but I refused to go, even though my head was hurting me as I had never felt before. The pain grew worse with each day that passed for the next week. My head was hurting because my brain was bleeding. in 7 days I lost so much blood that I passed out. A few hours after I passed out, my husband found me unconscious when he returned from work. This life-changing event occurred on October 28, 2004. When Darren saw my condition, he immediately called 9-1-1 and they life-flighted me to the hospital! I was in the hospital for 80 L--O--N--G days. I mean it was long, too. When my cognitive ability returned to me in the hospital, one of the nurses told me that one day I was in a wheelchair, with my right hand on my hip, demanding my rights to go home. As she told me that I said, "Is this not the United States of America? I have rights and I want to go home." I remembered this scene but I thought It was a dream. It was shocking to know that this really happened. Lots of shocking things have happened. I even have some pictures that my sister, Donna, took of me that remind me what God has brought me through.
I have included some of these pictures on "My Hospital Pictures" page. I must warn you. These pictures may shock you. They may cause you to turn away. Look at them, only if you dare.
During
my first brain surgery, while the doctors were saying that I was
probably not going to live, I saw the Devil begging God for my life,
saying, "Let me have her, God! Please, Let me have her!" God was in a glow, so I didn't see him in the face or anything. I simply heard him say, "You can't have her. She belongs to me and I have things for her to do." He
is my heavenly Father and his love is so great! I love God with all my
heart and I know it is his will for our needs to be met, because he
loves us so much! It took 3 surgeries before the doctors discovered my problem and each time they prepared my family for my death! I am truly a miracle of God and He deserves all the glory! When
the doctors tried to fix the blood vessel in my brain, it ruptured and
caused me to have a stroke! The stroke paralyzed the left side of my
body; therefore, the doctors said I probably would not walk again...yet today, I AM A WALKING MIRACLE!
Due to my brain bleeding, the doctors said I would be on anti-seizure medication for the rest of my life...yet today, I DO NOT TAKE ANY PRESCRIPTION DRUGS!"By the wounds of Jesus Jesus I have been healed!"(I Peter 2:24--Revised Standard Version)
*********************************************************************************************************** It has taken me a long time to begin to learn that my plans are not always God's plans. In this case, I thank God for allowing me to see his plans are for me to bring hope to those who need a little, or even a lot more, hope in their lives. Well, I have plenty! I'm thankful I get to share my hope with you.
God always causes us to triumph, in every situation, when we are in Christ. (II COR 2:14).
I choose to rejoiceand thank God for his grace that he has given to us and also for giving me the wisdom to know how to be a blessing to many others! Darren and I have 2 children together; Derrick (17) and Megan (14). They are great kids and I love them very much. I want to help them in every of their lives, especially in knowing how to bless others. That's why I asked God to show me what I could do to help my family to mature in Him. He told me:
" Bring hope to others by telling them what I've
done for you; and tell them that I love them, too!"

Thank you that I was equipped with this truth when someone said to me, "God may keep you paralyzed for his glory." I was able to overcome this lie and did not let it cause me to doubt God's promises, because I knew the truth that God taught me through you! I knew God loved me and wanted me well. I even told my friend, "God has healed me already and this world is going to see it, because God wants me well!" Thank you for teaching me how to trust God, to see his will come to pass in my life, and how to bring hope to so many others!

It has been 7 years since my brain surgeries. In these last 7 years I have been in excellent health and I give God the glory for healing me. 7 is the number of completion. God rested on the 7th day. I choose to rest, as well!

I am excited about doing what God has called me to do; helping people to know that there is ALWAYS hope in EVERY situation! Jesus said in MARK 9:23, "All things are possible to him who believes."Isn't that great news?
God has now made me a usable vessel for His glory and I am truly thankful that he did! I am thankful that God has many things for me to do and I'm excited that he has equipped me to do them! Knowing that God is on my side gives me great comfort.God has shown me time after time that he loves me and I am so blessed. God loves you, too! It doesn't matter what you have done or how bad you have messed up. God still loves you. Jesus died for you. If you don't know him, you can right now! He wants to fill that empty spot in your heart. Just pray and ask Jesus to come into your heart. Pray this prayer:
"Lord Jesus, I believe you are the son of God who died for my sins and rose again. I want to live my life for you. Save me, Lord. Come and live in me. Thank you for making me part of your family."

"If you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Rom 10:9).
